Project Summary

This original project proposed by the SunPower Corporation team was to produce tools and resources necessary to facilitate the study of high penetration PV scenarios in California using industry-standard simulation tools. The team developed a partial solar radiation database for use with existing PV power modeling programs prior to withdrawing from the project. In June 2012, SunPower informed the CSI RD&D program that they no longer had the resources to complete the project and asked that the grant be cancelled. The grant was cancelled in July 2012.
